SHOP FABRICATION CAPABILITIES


PROCESS EQUIPMENT DIVISION:

This division specializes in fabrication of equipment for chemical process and other manufacturing industries. Equipments are manufactured for various unit operations and unit processes such as; Heat Exchanging, Evaporation, Reaction, Boiling, Cooling, Crystallization, Separation, Filtration, Condensation and Drying, etc for the process and manufacturing industries, other that Oil & Gas, Fertilizers and Petrochemical Industries.

The main products of this Division are:
Evaporators, Vapor Cells, Falling Film Evaporators, Vacuum Pans, Vacuum Filters, Pressure Filters, Crystallizes, Heat Exchangers, Gas Scrubbers, Multi Trays Clarifiers, Multi Jet Condensers, Cascade Condensers, Rain & Shower Type Condensers, Fluidized Bed Dryers, Counter Flow Dryers, Rotary Dryers, Shop Fabricated Low Pressure Piping Spools, etc.

This Division could serve the following Industries:

ROTARY MACHINES DIVISION:
This division is specialized in the manufacturing of Rotary machines. This division is equipped with heavy and précised machines required for the fabrication, machining and assembly of Rotary machines and equipment.

The main products of this Division are:
Heavy duty hammer crushers, Heavy duty roller crushers, Fan / Blowers, Centrifugal separation machines, Rotary knives cutters, Levelers, Rotary screens, Elevators, Conveyors, Mixers, Graders, Sieve Separators, Levelers and other rotary machines.

DYNAMIC BALANCING SERVICES:
To fulfill the essential requirement of Dynamic Balancing of Rotary parts of Rotary machines, ABS has two most modern dynamic balancing machines, having balancing ranges as below:

DYNAMIC BALANCING MACHINE:
Ø2,400 mm x length 3,000 mm x 1 Ton
PORTABLE BALANCING MACHINE:
On location balancing of any size & weight job.

SPECIAL MACHINING ARRANGEMENTS:
To fulfill the versatile machining requirements of rotary machine’s parts, ABS has a few “SPECIAL LARGE SIZE MACHINES” to undertake the heavy and large size machining jobs.

Machining capacity (size ranges) of these special machines are as below:

a) VERTICAL LATHE (Ø 5,000 mm X 2,300 mm)
For the turning, Facing and boring a work piece having the following dimensions:

Diameter = Ø 5,000 mm
Height = 2,200 mm

b) HORIZONTAL LATHE (Ø 1,500 mm x 9,000 mm)
This machine is suitable for the turning and facing of a job having sizes:

Diameter = Ø 1,500 mm
Height = 9,000 mm

c) HORIZONTAL BORING MACHINE (14,000 mm x 4,000 mm x 1,500 mm)

The machine is suitable for facing and boring of a job having sizes as:

Diameter = 14,000 mm
Height = 4,000 mm
Boring length (Horizontally deep) = 1,500 mm

STEEL STRUCTURES DIVISION:
This division specializes in both shop and field fabrication and erection of steel structure works such as:

Steel Structure for platforms, buildings, self supporting and lattice type masts & Towers, Gantries, Steel piles casing for following industries:

1. Oil & Gas fields
2. Oil Refineries
3. Fertilizer Industries
4. Cement Plants
5. Sugar Mills
6. Flood light Masts
7. Lattice type towers
8. Jetties & Terminals
9. Industrial Sheds
10. Multistoried Residential and Commercial Buildings, constructed with Steel Structure.

Specialized team and tools & tackles are available for the shop detailing of fabrication drawings, fabrication, surface preparation & painting, shop fit-up trial assembly and erection of steel structures.

Beside capabilities for the fabrication of usual Rolled Sections, this division is also capable for fabrication of large sized sections by plate fabrication of built-up Sections. For that purpose we have expertise to control the Thermal Distortion of Plate fabricated built-up sections.

We have experience for the fabrication of large size sections by built-up plate fabrication for a Pre-heater Tower of a Cement Plant and Complete Supporting Structure of a Sugar Mill.

Special arrangement of base plates and workspace are available under the over head crane area, for the trial shop fit-up assembly of Steel Structure.

Blasting booth equipped with dust collector is available for sand blasting and covered enclosure is available for the paint application by Airless Spray, for the shop painting of steel structures.

SHOP DETAILING:
ABS has arrangement with associates companies for shop detailing of steel structure drawings on most comprehensive software “Xsteel”.
